Following corporate careers in the design + hospitality industries, our founders Jon + Lydia were seeking more purpose and flexibility in their work life. With a wealth of experience in design, architecture + project management between them, SKETCH was created to provide architectural services in the Midlands with a modern and professional approach.

EXPERTISE: Lydia's career spans Operations, Project Management + Marketing in the restaurant + hospitality sector, with a heavy focus on brand development + new concepts. A sharp eye for detail + experience working alongside interior designers to create market leading pubs + restaurants is coupled with PRINCE2 training in project management and a breadth of experience in business.
STYLE: A combination of timeless tradition (shaker kitchens, limestone floors, panelling, heritage colours) + Scandi / Hygge cosy, yet minimalist, vibes.

ARCHITECTURE + PLANNING
EXPERTISE: A qualified Architectural Technician with fifteen years experience, Jon's corporate background is in Architectural Design + Project Management for the hospitality + hotel industry, having worked on everything from Michelin star restaurant extensions to brand new hotels, listed buildings converted into nightclubs and some of the UK’s biggest restaurant brand expansions.
STYLE: Australian architecture + their love of raw finishes, open plan space + natural materials. Less is definitely more.

WHERE WE COVER
SKETCH is based at our home office in Swannington, North West Leicestershire, conveniently placed between Birmingham, Nottingham and Leicester to service the whole of the East + West Midlands.
We've completed a large number of projects across Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire and the West Midlands, building positive working relationships with local authorities in all these areas.
We travel within 45 miles of LE67 free of charge, after this we charge 45p per mile or
£50 for a home visit survey (redeemable against our fees if appointed).
